Undergraduate degrees are offered in art, biology, chemistry, economics and business administration, elementary teacher education, English, French, history, mathematics, music, religion, sociology, Spanish and political science. Our education program prepares elementary school teachers and secondary school teachers of English, French, Spanish, mathematics, science, and social studies, and special teachers of general music. In addition to our regular fouryear program, we offer a special three-year degree program to highly-qualified high school graduates entering college for the first time. We evaluate applicants on an individual basis. Your grades, attitude and character references are considered. Although each applicant is required to take the SAT or ACT, there is no specific cut-off score on either test. Transfer students and junior college graduates are welcomed. Annual tuition and general fees for 1973-74 amount to $1,400.00 and room and board total $1,000.00 per year. Financial aid is available through scholarships, grants, loans and campus employment.
