Miss Marybeth’s Class News Unit: Springtime March 28- Spring Weather April 4- Spring Insects April 11-Spring Planting AM Activities: Umbrella’s, butterfly’s, Happy Harry plants (plant grass seed; snip it as it grows!). We will be exploring how things grow and what they need to grow. *We will learn about different types of insects, especially butterflies and we will watch butterfly larvae go through the metamorphosis process in front of our own eyes in our classroom! PM Activities: Make a “rainstorm”, ROYGBIV Rainbow. Butterfly Life cycle art, scholastic magazine activity: “I see Seeds”, root vegetables and how they grow. *We will learn about different types of insects, especially butterflies and we will watch butterfly larvae go through the metamorphosis process in front of our own eyes in our classroom! Dramatic Play: Flower shop, Garden planting/ Insects Science Experiments: Lightening in you mouth!(pop rocks) Make a tornado!
