is seeking a full-time Home Economist in Greendale, WI.
Health Promotion and Human Development
are currently recruiting for an experienced Home
Economist for our Test Kitchen. This role is responsible
for planning and organizing recipes for select magazines.
Primary role will be to research, analyze, select, prepare,
develop and evaluate recipes for publication. This will be
accomplished by reviewing and interpreting reader
submitted recipes utilizing sound principles of food

science and food preparation. In addition, you will prepare
and make appropriate changes to present and document
recipes for the taste panel. You will utilize electronic
technology to research food and recipe preparation issues
on the Internet, and manage recipes on the company
Internet-based Recipe Management System; requires
strong computer proficiency.
Bachelors degree in Home Economics, Food
Science, Family and Consumer Science, Nutrition or
related field.
1-3 years experience in a Test Kitchen preferred, but
will consider food preparation experience in
catering, food service or dietary setting.
Food styling and food photography experience
preferred.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written
communication skills.
Requirements:
Ability to work well under pressure and meet
deadlines.
Must be computer literate; Microsoft Word, Excel
and database experience required.
Attention to detail essential.
Excellent organizational skills including the ability
to plan to achieve results and handle multiple
projects simultaneously.
Ability to work both independently and as a member
of a team.
