u A day tour of the entire island
u Cooking like a Saint Lucian
u Exploring the rain forest and local fishing villages
u A road trip to a local school to share storytelling skills with local students, ages 3-10 years old
(Bring a book to donate that you will read with the local students)
Note: Study Abroad in Saint Lucia will include a community service project with the local people.
Approximate Cost: $2,000 (includes round-trip airfare, accommodations, cultural and historical sights, and most meals)
Course Credit:
u SWK 4200 Practice Methods I: 35 hours of shadowing on this trip
u IDS 3550 Study Abroad: one credit toward the Global Studies requirement
Students with a 3.0 GPA are eligible to apply for MU Travel Grants at
