Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Dance
The School of Theatre & Dance offers two areas of
dance specialization: choreography and performance
and teaching. Each requires the same 47 credits in core
courses, plus additional specified credits in each area of
specialization. All majors are required to complete a
junior and a senior creative or research project and a
production project.

Please explain/justify the new proposal or change. 
We are removing listings of specific semester/year for the required courses for the BFA in Dance’s core
courses to avoid confusion as many of the courses have recently revised their schedules and more
schedule changes are being currently proposed.
