Why did you choose to be a Hall Director?
Because of the Hall Director I had while I was in school, and how they
made an impact on my life.
What makes you come back day in and day out?
The students. Its about the students. Just in hopes that in making a difference for our student’s lives. And that they know someone truly cares
about them.
Do you prefer Upperclassmen or freshmen?
I prefer both. I get to see the beginning of their education at AAMU to then
they graduate and go on to their careers. From physical to mental maturation.
What is the best thing about the
job?
The students are the best thing
about the job. And also being able
to work at a HBCU.
What would you like the students to know?
“I truly care about them as individuals... and to become well rounded individuals.”
“Live as if you were to
die tomorrow. Learn
as if you were to live
forever.”

Why A&M?
Chose A&M because it was
the most affordable school to
attend, and when came to
open-house received a great
welcoming experience. From
that point knew A&M was
home.
On-Campus Life:
University Echoes, likes to use
the University Wellness Center, and mingles with residents.
Off-Campus:
Enjoys the social aspect of Huntsville, especially the eateries and the park.
(Atlanta Bread Company and the Park Downtown Hometown: Sacramento, CA
are top choices)
What Darrian wants you to know:
“Never forget the main reason you are here for.”
