Trilithic Introduces New TDM Server Application:
Indianapolis, IN (Wednesday, June 15, 2005). Trilithic proudly announces the introduction of TDM –
Trilithic Data Manager. TDM is a server application that enables configuration of 860 DSP or 860 DSPi
Field Analyzers and measurement record collection, as well as instrument update and feature addition, all
remotely, without a trip to the office, via the Internet. A simple linking software, WorkBench Component,
gives a field technician access to WorkBench, Trilithic’s popular configuration and data management
application, for communicating technical data and instrument configurations, and for up- and downloading
work orders and measurement results to the TDM server for documentation and further analysis. A
WorkBench operator can use TDM as an in- and outgoing “mailbox” containing work orders, instructions,
channel configurations, group or individual messages and other traffic. A technician in the field simply
downloads his “mail” to his 860 DSPi at any convenient time.
In these times of larger territories and fewer field offices within convenient driving range, TDM allows
management and the field technical force to communicate more efficiently, as well as giving the field tech
a wider access to diagnostic information from native and third-party applications. Streamlined, efficient
remote communications improves technician efficiency and productivity, reduces (Mean Time to Repair
(MTTR) and increases network availability, saving the System Operator both time and money
