AP 5410 Associated Students Elections

The Associated Students shall conduct annual elections to elect officers.
1.
The Executive Board Vice-President shall appoint from its members an
election committee to oversee all aspects of the student election.
2.
The election committee shall be responsible for setting the election dates no
later than three weeks prior to the end of the spring semester.
3.
The officers shall be elected from a secret ballot.
Any student elected as an officer in the Associated Students shall meet the
requirements stated in Board Policy 5410 and the Associated Student Body
Constitution.
Specific election information on student elections is outlined in the Associated
Student Body Constitution. The Associated Student Body (ASB) and the Advisor
shall review and revise the Election Code prior to each election. If any changes
occur, the ASB and the Vice President of Student Services must approve.
