Professional Development Plans
The WCEE has developed PDP (Professional
Development Plan) samples that illustrate how
environmental education can be infused into teacher
PDPs. The samples, which have been reviewed by
educators and a representative from the Wisconsin
Department of Public Instruction for accuracy
and relevancy, are available on our website under
“Professional Development.” In addition, WCEE
staff member Gretchen Marshall is a certified PDP
reviewer and is available as a Higher Education
Representative for your review team.
Please Note:
WCEE opportunities are not part of a master’s
degree program and do not directly lead to
licensure. However, you may wish to pursue a
master’s degree or 615 Environmental Science
licensure and incorporate WCEE coursework
into your program. For more information about
these options, please contact Pam Bork, School
of Education Director of Graduate Studies and
Professional Development, at pbork@uwsp.edu.
