Pick Your University Wisely Based on Majors:
I perceived the offerings at
UWSP to be well rounded, and
this appealed to me because I
was undecided on what major I
would choose.

I came into UWSP not sure about my major; the various
majors provided at UWSP gave me a better understanding of
each major and narrowed my view until I came face to face
with what I was really passionate about, which was and still
psychology. If the majors offering were not various enough in
UWSP I'd still feel uncertain about which path to take
academically. The variety and numerous majors surely
provided me with the chance to both enjoy what I study and
succeed in what I do.

I chose to come to UWSP deciding to study international studies, and
during my second year of study I decided to add natural resources as
my second major. I am very thankful for the various study fields
UWSP offers and the flexible major changing system they have,
because of these features of UWSP, I got to figure out my study goal
and major choices.
Yujing Hu
Stevens Point offers many programs that I am interested in,
however, I feel like business and economy are the best fits
for me. Professors were nice and very helpful when
questions arise. Many programs, if not all, on campus also
offer hands-on opportunities that help me familiarize with
working environments that I will experience in the future.
