KCCI.com, IA 05-22-06 ISU Football Player Suspended AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University suspended a defensive lineman Monday who's accused of violating the school's athletic code of conduct. Stephon Dale was suspended Monday for violating the ISU Student-Athlete Code of Conduct, an ISU news release said. "Consistent with the ISU athlete code guidelines, I have suspended Stephon Dale from the Cyclone football program," Iowa State head coach Dan McCarney said in a statement.
