BIO 201 LAB EXAM I DESCRIPTION The exam will consist of 50 questions arranged at stations in the lab. Each station will contain one or two questions on the various models, bones, tissues etc. covered in lab. You will have 1-2 minutes at each station to answer the question(s). Once everyone has been to all of the stations, I will let you go back to the stations again. The test will be set up as follows: 1) Kidney Sections (Body Planes)-1 question 2) Torso Man Model (Organs, structures)-2 questions 3) Rat-2 questions 4) Tissues-6 questions 5) Skin Model, Human Scalp Slide, Monkey skin-3 questions 6) Bone Type-1 question 7) Sectioned Beef Bone-2 questions 8) Bone Model-2 questions 9) Skull-5 questions 10) Fetal skull model-1 question 11) Axis, Atlas, Vertebra-3 questions 12) Sacrum, Sternum, Herniated disc, Hyoid bone-1 question from each 13) Bones of the Appendicular skeleton-1 or 2 questions from each bone (Scapula, Humerus etc…) The majority of the questions will be Identify the surface marking (tuberosity, foramen etc…) or structure (liver etc…). There will be three bonus questions on the exam from the material covered in lab.
