1 Study Guide for the first Unit Test (Los animales y la naturaleza) For this first test you should make sure you are familiar with the following general goals for this unit of study: I can tell which type of animal (mammal, bird, reptile, etc.) a specific animal is. I can describe environments (dry, wet, windy, etc.). I can tell what an animal eats. I can describe my pet. I can use the present tense in Spanish. I can identify what body parts an animal has. I can tell whether a word is an animal, plant, or natural product. I can identify farm vocabulary. I can identify verbs that animals do. I can identify sounds that animals make. I can listen to short passages in Spanish and understand their meaning. I can read short passages in Spanish and understand their meaning. In addition to these goals, you should make sure that you are familiar with the master vocabulary list of animal, plant, and other words related to nature. Your test will be comprised of multiple choice questions about animals and body parts of animals, matching pictures with words, and multiple choice listening questions. There will not be a speaking component on this unit test.
