The major difference in the syllabus for a graduate student (versus that of an undergraduate
student) enrolled in FIN 533 is the requirement of two projects.
The first is a stock analysis project and the second is a research paper.
Consequently, the overall course grade calculation will differ slightly. The course grade will use the same
four mid-semester exams and a cumulative final. However, the graduate student's average will be
calculated using the best 4-out-of-5 exam grades, where each exam counts 15% of the course average,
each project counts 15%, and homework will make up the remaining 10%.
