Removed Pay for Exceptional Performance – Non-negotiated employees o o o o o o o Thank you to the Administration for all of their hard work The salary committee did a wonderful job Everyone on the Council needs to think about what is best for all Civil Service Employees. Employees sign on for a career. Negotiated contracts will need to come up with own plan Business agents will need to get together at one time for negotiated and prevailing wage Please support the council even if your vote does not go the way you want it to go. The council should be united. The Pay for Exceptional Performance passed. The vote was 12 in favor and 1 opposed. Search Committee Cathy Couza is retiring and there needs to be a civil service employee on the search committee. Sheila Downin in Human Resources has volunteered for this. Winter Luncheon Prize – Jamie is thinking about getting a Wii fit bundle for the big raffle prize. This includes the Wii console along with the Wii Fit accessory. This is to go along with the health and wellness theme. There was discussion about having to have a reservation to win. This would not be fair to the Quad Cities employees that purchase raffle tickets but are not able to make it to the luncheon. Greg made a motion for Jamie to go ahead and purchase the Wii Bundle for the big prize and it is open for everyone at the winter luncheon. Jim seconded and the motion carried. Raffle Tickets – There was discussion about council members being eligible to win the big prize. Laura made a motion for council members not to be eligible for the big prize at the luncheons. Jamie seconded. Motion carries with 8 in favor and 5 opposed. There was also discussion about having rolls of tickets instead of the copies. Walmart is going to be contacted about getting a discount. Richard made a motion to end the meeting and Greg seconded.
