ou are able to make a wager on a question
if you have positive winnings. That wager
can be up to 50% of your total winnings. Once
prompted, type a dollar amount in the box provided and click on “Make a Wager”.

uestions will appear in several formats, including Multiple Choice and True and False.
Player will have one opportunity to select an
answer by clicking on the appropriate letter. Answering a question correctly will add the question value (including any wagers) to your overall winnings. Answering a question incorrectly
will result in a reduction to your total winnings,
equivalent to the value of the question and any
wagers. This could result in a negative account
balance.
6.) BUY MORE TIME
S
elect a question to answer by moving the
slider to a dollar amount with your mouse.
Once you stop and release the slider on a level,
the question will immediately appear and you
will not be able to choose another question level
until you have answered the current question.
Remember - the higher the dollar amount, the
more difficult the question.
I
f you find yourself stumped on a question you
are able to buy a hint from one of our CBOE
instructors. It will cost 10% of the value of the
question. If you do not have positive winnings,
you are not able to buy a hint. Simply click on the
“Purchase” button to complete your transaction.
O
nce the timer reaches 1 minute remaining,
you will be prompted with an opportunity
to purchase more time. You can choose to buy
1, 2, or 5 additional minutes. If you do not have
enough money to buy more time, you will not
be prompted. If you finish all questions within
the allotted time, you will be rewarded with bonus dollars (equivalent to $100 per second remaining).
7.) RESULTS SCREEN

nce you complete the game, you will be
brought to the results screen. You will see
your final score, your final ranking and will be referred to educational resources on CBOE.com. If
you are a logged-in MyCBOE member, your score
will be recorded and compared with other game
players. Top scorers may be eligible for special
offers or opportunities.
