Baton Rouge Community College Police Department INCIDENT RESOLUTION 2014-000445 The Baton Rouge Community College Police Department is providing this notice of a criminal incident that occurred at our BRCC Mid-City Campus in order to provide information that may help to avoid a similar crime or provide information to solve this crime. This notice is also intended to meet the requirements of the “Timely Notice” provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistic Act of 1998. On June 5, 2014, at approximately 3:55 PM, a student was arrested at the BRCC Mid-City location for having a handgun in a backpack. An alert staff member contacted BRCCPD because the student was violating policy for having the backpack in the bookstore.
