SPECIAL PROJECTS IN TELEVISION
Catalog Description:
39 - Special Projects in Television
(May be repeated 3 times)
Practical experience in television production and programming. Strongly recommended: Mass
Communications 33A. 2 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.
[Typical contact hours: lecture 35, laboratory 52.5]
Prerequisite Skills:
None
Expected Outcomes for Students:
Upon completion of the course the student should be able to:
1. design television programs;
2. operate television studio control boards and cameras, as appropriate;
3. write television scripts;
4. apply television engineering skills, such as videotape operation and editing and studio lighting.
