ADAPTED COMPUTER KEYBOARDING
Catalog Description:
100 - Adapted Computer Keyboarding
(May be repeated three times.)
3 units
Introduction to correct keyboarding techniques and familiarity with the entire computer keyboard,
including the number pad with emphasis on adaptive, one handed, and ergonomic keyboarding skills.
This course is designed for students with disabilities. 2 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory.

Expected Outcomes for Students:
Upon completion of the course the student should be able to:

b. Speed timing quizzes starting with 1 minute sentences

d. Timed written work with a speed of at least 10 to 15 minutes depending on disability
