have identified a significant market that requires an experienced research leader who
will be responsible for supporting sales growth of the OMG coatings and additive
product line, providing full applications development and technical support to the
business. This position offers the potential to grow in the organization for the candidate
with the correct skill set who exhibits enthusiasm, initiative and vision. We are looking
for a team player who will provide technical support in the form of data and
presentations to develop sales of these products, develop promotion packages of new
R&D products in the US market and provide advice to customers on the use of OMG
products. This is a key link between the Americas market and coatings R&D group in
Langenfeld, Germany and will feed information in support of new R&D projects.
Requirements:
Requirements include a minimum BS degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science with an
advanced degree in a related area. The successful candidate will also possess the
ability to combine knowledge of paint formulation and additives with understanding of
the chemistry in coatings formulations. A minimum five (5) years of lab experience in
paint, pigment or dispersion is required, along with excellent verbal and written
