Job Description:
* To support business strategy to develop and sell new product line of
composite additives
* Leads and organizes specific R&D projects
* Develops and carries out detailed research plan and experimentation
in lab to analyze, develop and scale-up products to meet project
requirements including making samples for customer evaluation, as
needed
* Provides supervision and guidance to junior members of a project
team and interfaces with management, production and customers, as
needed
* Practices or leads in opportunity analysis, brainstorming sessions,
root cause analysis, safety responsibilities, presents or publishes
results to management, customers or at technical conferences
Education Requirements: * BS or higher in chemistry, engineering or other science field
Minimum Requirements: * Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience in chemical or material
science-related industry
* Strong understanding of chemistry
* Ability to operate basic analytical equipment
* Can do approach to new product development
* Good synthesis skills
* Good communication skills
* Demonstrated customer focus
* Meticulous attention to detail
