What makes us who we are and how we think? This is a very complex question, with what is most certainly a complex answer. However, there are times that an assumption can be made from the data at hand. For this project, data that was collected at the
University of Western Illinois during a political survey will be cross tabulated to determine if there is any evidence that supports or disproves either of the following hypotheses.
The first hypothesis has to do with a question of whether or not a person's party affiliation has any correlation with whether or not that person considers the gender of any person that might be running for president. The second hypothesis asks whether or not a person is more likely to approve or disapprove with the president's job approval simply because they are in the same political party. These are completely separated questions that will tested with the data separately.
