President's Report

o Not present, but treasurer’s report was e-mailed to the Senate

Vice President's Report
o Would like to start planning classified appreciation
 June 1st is first day of summer, so not a good time
 No break between last day of spring and first day of
summer
 Looking at second week of June
o Classified Prioritization
 Visit from Deonne Kunkel
 PRBC reviewed 2015-2016 program reviews and
crafted a statement for Classified Senate regarding
classified prioritization; see Addendum Two

Secretary's Report
o Not enough people to vote: will approve via e-mail

SEIU Report
o Site meetings will be held with Kaden to discuss contract
proposal
o Hope to have vote soon after

Classified Prioritization Committee
o Met Jan 14 to review requests from program review
o Tried to list priorities without ranking requests
o Support reclassification
o Reviewed list and assessment from meeting


Facilities Committee
o Landscape project on Hesperian is happening, slowly
 Putting in low wall with low-water, low-maintenance grass
o Library still under construction

Health & Safety
o Fire system was upgraded and problems have been repaired
 Testing the system during spring break
o Be aware of our health and vaccinations
 If sick, stay home, cover cough, wash hands, use
disinfectant wipes
o Will try to give tickets to students who park in staff lots so they
don’t park in staff spots, but staff needs to not park in the
student lots
o Call 377-0173 to connect to an on-call Campus Safety officer

Technology Committee
o Go to Lynda.com for software classes
 Good for a year
o ITS is still working

Planning Budget Committee
o Will meet next week


Treasurer’s Report
In the co-curricular account we have $4,877.76. The general funds we
have $48.24 in Travel account. Deductions from payroll to co-curricular
account are $115.00 per month.
Expenses: $57.12 in travel expenses
