VNTI usage and advantage
• The VNTI software suite can not replace bioinformatics web
tools for dedicated tasks...
• VNTI software offers an unique opportunity for storage and
manipulation of DNA and protein sequences, primers, vectors,
restriction enzymes, BLAST searches and downloads, etc...
• Principle: All molecule operations within the same software suite
allows “Drag and drop “ functionality
• Advanced principle: Sharing of data in VNTI online databases
VNTI usage and disadvantage
• The VNTI used to be free for academic users.
• Currently its NOT!
• IBV has a shared network lisence
