Marcellus, M. Salmon Action on Minutes Minutes from the Third Meeting, dated September 28, 2004, were approved. Printing Fee It was reported that no definite plans have been announced to implement a fee to students for printing materials in the labs. UBUS *485 A new course proposal was presented. UBUS *485 will accommodate undergraduate and graduate students’ enrollment in the ELC projects course. Discussion will continue at the next meeting. FINA 320 The committee approved a revision to the prerequisite for FINA 320. (See page 1 of 2) MGMT Items A revision to the prerequisite for MGMT 437 was approved by the committee. A new course, MGMT 512, Advanced Topics in Business Law, was also approved. (See page 1 of 2) MKTG Items The committee approved a revision to the Interactive Marketing area of study. (See page 2 of 2). The proposal to revise the Marketing Minor was tabled. ACCY Revisions A proposal to revise two course titles (ACCY 472 and ACCY 499H) was discussed. Further discussion will continue at the next meeting. Study of law relating to contracts, sales, negotiable instruments, bankruptcy and related topics. Students are required to critically analyze cases and apply legal principles. Rationale: To provide for advanced study of the law as it relates to areas that MAS candidates are likely to encounter as accounting professionals.
