WORK EXPERIENCE
Two years in public accounting. Duties included audits, accounting reviews,
corporate, personal, and partnership tax return preparation.
1975 to 1976, 1977 to 1978
One year in corporate tax work at a national food wholesaler. Duties included
preparation of federal and state income tax returns for approximately 40
subsidiaries.
1976 to 1977
Two years as an Assistant Professor of Business Studies at Kendall College in
Evanston, Illinois. Courses taught included financial and tax accounting,
auditing, management, corporate finance, and organizational behavior.
1982 to 1984
One year as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Accountancy at DePaul University
in Chicago, Illinois. Courses taught included graduate and undergraduate
advanced managerial accounting and undergraduate auditing.
1984 to 1985
One year self-employed as a management consultant. Clients serviced in fields of
banking, health care, retail merchandising, and entertainment.
1985 to 1986
Nine years as an Associate Professor of Management at Benedictine University.
Courses taught included management principles, human resource management,
strategic management, international management, auditing, financial accounting,
and managerial accounting. Director, Center for Ethics in Business.
1987 to 1996

Five years as an Associate Professor of Management and Accountancy at Aurora
University. Courses taught included management, human resource management,
team building, leadership, Deming-based financial management, organizational
behavior, total quality management, financial accounting, managerial accounting,
and auditing. Director, Quality & Systems Management Program.
1996 to 2001
One year as Lecturer in Business at Lake Forest College. Courses taught included
strategic management & business forecasting, financial accounting and
managerial accounting.
2004 to 2005
Five years as founding Director of the Chicago Deming Association.
1996 to 2001
Three years as State Chairman of the Illinois Ballot Integrity Project.
2004 to 2007
Five years as Adjunct Professor of Business and Accounting at
Waubonsee Community College. Courses taught included financial
and managerial accounting, introduction to business, business math
and supervisory management.
2009 to 2014
One year as Instructor of Accountancy at Northern Illinois University.
Courses taught include fundamentals of accounting, managerial accounting
information for decisions and control, financial reporting, financial
accounting information for business decisions, and managerial accounting
concepts.
