JULIE A. HANSBERRY
Julie Hansberry is the Chief Financial Officer for Cincinnati Tool Steel Company in
Rockford, Illinois. She has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Northern Illinois
University in Dekalb, Illinois. She is a CPA and CMA and has worked in various
industries starting in public accounting with Coopers and Lybrand (now
PricewaterhouseCoopers), and then moving to internal audit with Elco Textron, Inc. After
serving in Corporate internal audit for one year, she then went on to serve as Controller at
their Construction Products Division and then as Controller of their Syntek Products
Division. She left Elco Textron to accept a position as Chief Financial Officer at Motor
Parts and Equipment Corporation.
Julie is a member of the Rockford Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants.
She served on the board of directors for six years and served as president for the 1995-96
chapter year where she lead the chapter to a 17th place finish in the national competition.
She is also a member of the Institute of Certified Professional Managers and was certified
in June 1992. She currently serves on the Northern Illinois University’s Accountancy
Executive Advisory Council and the Swedish American Hospital Women’s Health
Advisory Board. She received the 1998-1999 Outstanding Young Accountancy Alumni
award from Northern Illinois University.
