David A. Misura, CPA
David is an audit partner with the accounting and consulting firm Plante Moran, PLLC. David graduated
from Northern Illinois University in 1980 with a degree in accounting and later received his Masters
degree in Finance from Northern.
David has spent the majority of his career working with middle market manufacturing and distribution
companies, in a variety of capacities including controllership/CFO positions. His current clients include
food, transportation, automotive as well as a variety of other manufacturing and distribution businesses.
He has worked closely with the ownership and management of client company’s on issues related to
succession planning, performance management processes, Financing requirements etc.
In his current role, David is one of the local leaders for the firms Manufacturing and Distribution practice
with a focus on the transportation industry.
David has served on various boards and is a member of the American institute of Certified public
accountants, Illinois CPA society and the PMA association.
