• For June 4 visit, mean OII focus was about -8.5 microns
• For August 3 visit, mean OII focus about -6 microns
– Count rate after peakups was slightly lower than in June, but still
within family

• Took G140L and G230L spectra of DA WD
GD153 using 52X0.1 aperture at various locations
along slit
– Also took reference spectra using 52X2
• Overall flux levels generally consistent with
extrapolation of previous trends
– details near Lyman alpha still being investigated
– Other sensitivity monitor data still being analyzed

• Cross-dispersion (spatial) PSF indistinguishable
from 2002 measurements.

• Relative throughput of 52X0.1 and 52X2 very close to
previous results (perhaps slightly lower).

NUV MAMA Darks
• Analysis of telemetry taken during visits with
NUV MAMA HV on this week confirm that dark
shows a short term dependence on temperature
similar to or slightly steeper than normal NUV
MAMA dark relation
• No evidence so far that the extra dark rate is
starting to decline
– Previous model would have predicted 30% decline in
about a week
– Current NUV dark rate was measured in a variety of
ways and not strictly comparable
– Will obtain much better data over the next few days
