WALKING WITH MARY MAGDALENE IN THE EASTER GARDEN Thursday, April 20, 2006 - Rectory Dining Room and Chapel - 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Easter and this Easter in the most ancient and communal of ways, namely, through the nourishment of a meal shared and a story retold and re-envisioned. At the table in our rectory, come with a dish to pass and with your story of life “eastering forth” through the liturgies of our parish community, in this springtime, and in your Easter celebrations. After our supper, we will meet in the chapel for a meditation on Mary Magdalene’s journey to grief that is transformed into joy. Connections to our own walk in the Easter garden of our lives will be made through a pondering of the scripture story, especially to the intimacy with which Mary is named and each of us is named in our belovedness with Jesus. Please register by calling the St. Ignatius Rectory, Remember and celebrate the events of the first JUSTF AITH – The Good News of the Risen Christ is a comfort and a promise to the poor as well as a call to those who are not poor to be agents of God’s compassion and justice in a wounded world.
