To advance the image, scope, diversity and creativity of cultural activities on campus through artistic and educational programming. Ethnically diverse programs of the highest quality have been maintained. The same approach will continue as before. Continuing Expansion in the number of acadmic departments/ students participating in KHRCA, Art Gallery and QPAC offerings. To encourage both teachers and students to go beyond the boundaries of the classroom to investigate the probelms and successes that affects them not as students but as members of a larger community. The Art Gallery saw 25 new Continue as before. students "learning to look," the KHRCA increased its usage by the academic departments from 5 to 7 and QPAC saw a more than 5% student participation increase from the 2009-2010 baseline reports (from 361 to 397). Continuing Foster the importance of cultural awareness for community development and for the economic growth and vitality of the region, particularly to enhance the quality of life and attract corporate, convention and visitor commerce. Maintain and/or increase the number of visitors to the KHRCA and Art Gallery and for QPAC the number of tickets sold over previous year. The KHRCA had more than 400 new visitors, the Art Gallery saw 7,500 visitors this season, and QPAC's overall ticket sales increased from 1656 to 1855. Continue as before. Continuing Expand outreach to attract visitors in underserved communities and in those neighborhoods within 30 miles of Queensborough College. Better serve those patrons who are already visiting the campus and perchasing tickets who live in the surrounding areas, as well as those who live in Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn, Bronx & Manhattan. The KHRCA increased the number of its tour groups from 5 -8 from Nassau/Suffolk, The Art Gallery saw an additional 550 visitors, and QPAC increased the number of tickets sold in Nassau/Suffolk by more than 25% (from 2599 to 3291) and in other areas (excluding Queens) sales more than doubled (from 1011 to 2542).
