How to set up email notifications
Schedule Source will send you weekly email notifications reminding you of your upcoming shifts or alerting you
to shifts that have been placed on the Swap Board. These can be very handy reminders.
1. Click “Notifications” icon, which appears in the bottom navigational bar and is the third icon from the left.
This icon is indicated by a black circle in the screenshot.
2. Click “Add” for adding your profile to the notifications. This option is indicated by the black rectangle in the
screenshot. You can choose a single location or more than one location (Global).
3. You can choose in the set up menu whether you would like to receive the full calendar of all shifts, your
schedule, and/or shifts on the Swap Board.
• Most people will just want their “Schedule” and maybe the shifts on the “Swap Board”. You can
chose what day of the week these are emailed to you, and whether you receive a report that lists
these for the next 7, 14, 21 or 28 days
4. You can also set up INSTANT ALERTS instant alerts when posted shifts are claimed or removed, leave
requests are approved, etc., but these are not especially useful in our environment.
