Students were asked to respond to 11 questions based on the 8 objectives. Three items were selected for analysis. Rubric attached Objective #1: Communicate effectively with peers and faculty Question #10: What are three things that your professor expects of you as a student? For objective #1, 98% of students were aware of the expectations of faculty. Their responses reflected knowledge of appropriate communication. Exceeds expectations: 86% Meets expectations: 12% Below expectations: 2% For objective # 2, 82% of students met the expectation. In response to the assessment of Objective #2, it was decided that more activities such as calculation of GPA should be used to reinforce minimum retention standards. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Meets expectations :82% Below expectations : 21% For objective #10, 91% of students met or exceeded the expectations. In response to the assessment of objective # 8, although the results showed that 91% met or exceeded the objective, the faculty decided that more time should be spent addressing mental health issues.
