Curtis Lavarello, Executive Director, Curt Lavarello has over 28 years as a
Law Enforcement Executive and has become the nation’s leading authority on
school safety and school based policing. Curt served on the Post Columbine
High School Review Committee and was twice invited to participate in White
House Conferences on School Safety. Curt travels extensively speaking on
school and youth related violence and has been featured on all major TV
networks and serves as a Frequent Fox News Radio Guest.
Lt. Sean Burke, President, Lt. Sean Burke has been the feature in numerous
articles relating to youth violence and street gang violence. Sean has traveled
extensively speaking on the impact of violence and bullying on our youth, and the
strategies to combat them from both a school and community perspective. Sean
is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy and has chaired the School
Safety Technical Working Group for the United States Department of
Justice. Recently, Sean was featured on a CBS News Special on Youth Violence.
Vanessa Snow, Esq, Vanessa Snow serves as the General Counsel for the
School Safety Advocacy Council and has over 18 years Law Enforcement Command and Legal Experience. Ms. Snow is a Graduate of the FBI Academy and
has served with the FBI in numerous capacities in the West Palm Beach, FL
office. Vanessa currently serves as a Police Captain with the Riviera Beach
Police Department in Florida and has traveled extensively speaking on Terrorism,
School Safety and School Bullying Liability to Schools.
Lt. Tim Enos, Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office (FL), Lt. Tim Enos has served
in Law Enforcement for over 20 years and currently serves as Commander of the
Youth Services Section for the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. Tim is also
President-elect of the Florida Association of School Resource Officers (FASRO)
and has traveled extensively training both school based law enforcement and
school administrators in cyber-bullying related cases and school based policing.
Tim also serves as a Senior Instructor for the School Safety Advocacy Council.
Dr. Dawn LeBlanc, Principal/National Trainer (PA), Dr. LeBlanc is a
nationally recognized expert and presenter in the area of school violence
offender recognition and has traveled extensively speaking to both school staff
and school based law enforcement officers. Dr. LeBlanc has served on the
Advisory Board of the School Safety Advocacy Council for over 7 years and
has assisted school districts nationwide in both school safety and anti-bullying
recognition and strategies.
