High School Diploma or equivalent. Five (5) or more years of experience in operating an energy management system. Experienced in training teams on saving opportunities. Knowledge of computer software and systems (i.e. Microsoft Office, work order systems). 5. Experience in scheduling and preparing/managing budgets. 6. Strong written and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills) and the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and apply them in a productive manner. 7. Experience in supervisory skills overseeing skilled technicians and clerical staff. 8. Ability to perform the functions of the position. ____________________________________________________________________________ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Develop and implement the District energy conservation plan. This includes assuming accountability for program performance. 2. Supervise building automation personnel and provide necessary direction and training. 3. Audit and analyze energy utilization for each facility site and establish an energy baseline. 4. Prepare presentations for employees of the district to educate and motivate them to reduce energy consumption. 5. Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports and provide an overview of these reports for Board updates. Develop an energy reduction plan for each facility site. 6. Assist in preparing annual utility budgets. 7. Monitor computerized EMS: troubleshoot, analyze trends, change schedules and parameters, and maintain proper environment at all facilities. 8. Tracks and completes all available rebates offered by utility companies 9. Evaluate installation of new and/or replacement energy consuming equipment. This includes support in system commissioning of capital projects. Verify that installed equipment meets design specifications. 10. Identify and procure available state and federal grants for projects with energy conservation. 11. Develop and lead a District level recognition program for “energy excellence”. 12.
