Research Objectives*
Provide purpose of the research in summary form.
Example 1: People are healthier and happier when they have intimates who care about and for them.
But they also do better when they know many different people casually. We are involved in a year-long
study designed to understand whether knowing many kinds of people in your neighborhood is helpful
because it improves personal health and well being. This survey is conducted anonymously and takes
approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Example 2: The School of Public Health invites Drexel University students to participate in a 16-week
study of the effectiveness of the flu vaccine. The study involves completing nine online questionnaires.

Information for Research Subjects Eligibility
Provide the eligibility criteria that will be used to admit subjects into the study.
Example 1: You can participate in this study if you are 18 – 65 years of age, native of Philadelphia, be
able to read and speak English and have lived in the same community for longer than 10 years. If you
meet the above criteria, please contact us using the contact information provided below.
Example 2: You must be at least 18 years old, a Drexel University student eligible for health care at
Student Health Service at Drexel University and have an access to the Internet.
