Schaeffler AG Supervisory Board Member
After completing secondary school in Peissenberg, Barbara Resch began training in 1991 as a communication electronics technician at Agfa in Peissenberg. Upon completion of her training in 1995, Barbara Resch worked for Agfa as a skilled worker in the laser printer department.
In 1992, Barbara Resch was active as a trade union representative for youth and trainees, as a member of the assembly of delegates in 1993, and as an education officer from 1993. In 1995, she took over the trade union steward position and became a member of the local chapter in 1999.
From 2001 to 2010, Barbara Resch worked as the trade union secretary for IG Metall at the Weilheim office and, after that, worked as the trade union secretary for IG Metall at the Schweinfurt office until 2015.
In 2015, Barbara Resch, in addition to her appointment to the Schaeffler AG Supervisory Board, was chosen to be the 2 nd authorized representative at the IG Metall Schweinfurt office. Within the Schaeffler AG
Supervisory Board she is also part of the Executive Committee.
