The remainderofCretaceousagesampleshad T.O.C. v a l u e s i n t h e f a i r . r a n g e (0.5 t o 1.0 w t . % ) andkerogentypeapproximatelyevenly s p l i t betweenoil-prone,gas-prone,andinertinite.Permianage r o c k s were m o s t l y c l e a n c a r b o n a t e s , b u t a s h a l e was encountered near the b a s e of the G l o r i e t aF o r m a t i o n . t h i s samplehad T.O.C. v a l u e of 1 . 6 1 w t . % (good range) and 40% eachofoil-proneandgasprone kerogen.
