I am a highly skilled supply chain professional with 17 years of management experience in distribution and
transportation operations, logistics technology development, project management and vendor relations obtained
during my tenures in the US Army and civilian companies within the retail sector. I have held or hold senior
operational and project management roles within multiple supply chain functions and groups. In addition to my
professional management experience, I also hold an academic teaching role with 3 years lecturing experience at the
undergraduate and graduate level.
My educational background consists of undergraduate and graduate business degrees as well as numerous US Army
and civilian professional certificates in supply chain operations and technology. These include bachelors in Business
Management, Computer Information Systems, Human Resources Management, Lean Six Sigma certification, MBA, as

Project Management – Logistics Systems
 Designed, developed and implemented size enablement/replenishment operations and systems (mechanical








and physical) needed to support DSW’s size replenishment program at all 307 retail stores. The current
program handles 8% of DSW’s total outbound volume with a projected increase to 35% by 2013.
Managed, developed, and implemented new warehouse control system and warehouse management system
projects for DSW’s distribution system. These systems are key components in DSW’s size
enablement/replenishment strategy. Overall logistics responsibility for the integration of systems on a
standard Oracle database platform, hardware evaluation, selection, testing and implementation, and on going
support.
Coordinated, developed, and implemented logistics systems and procedures necessary to support DSW’s
West Coast distribution center operations. Key member of executive team responsible for the review,
evaluation, and selection of West Coast third party service provider. This operation provided a company
return on investment of 23% of gross annual sales.
Developed and implemented electronic data interchange systems for both Abercrombie & Fitch and DSW
necessary for exchange of business and product information between company and vendor bases.
Logistics Operations Management
Responsible for the management and administration of DSW’s logistics inventory control department. Assist
in the development and implementation of corporate inventory policies with DSW’s Finance, Internal Audit,
Loss Prevention, and Merchandising teams. Plan, prepare, and conduct DSW’s annual physical inventory at
facilities in Columbus and Los Angeles averaging .02% inventory shrinkage on gross sales of $1.5 billion
Responsible for the management and operation of DSW’s distribution centers in Columbus and Los Angeles
conducting merchandise receipt, inventory, processing, and shipping operations to 307 stores.
Responsible for the development and management of both Abercrombie & Fitch and DSW’s logistics exempt
and nonexempt personnel to prepare them for the next level of responsibility. Administration of personnel
merit evaluations on a monthly and annual basis.
Act as DSW logistics liaison to IT for the development, implementation, and modification of logistics systems.

Vendor Relations
 Acted as key corporate representative for both Abercrombie & Fitch and DSW in the negotiation and




implementation of company and vendor logistics operations necessary for the movement of merchandise
from overseas factory to US distribution center.
Developed of all vendor compliance and relationship polices for both Abercrombie & Fitch and DSW to
ensure vendors meet all corporate purchase order instructions and terms.
Management of vendor chargeback procedures for Abercrombie & Fitch and DSW assisting in the recovery
of $1.5 million dollars in operational losses incurred by the company.
Planned, coordinated, and conducted vendor meetings with key senior management members from company
and vendor operations to discuss business strategy, existing and new product requirements, operational
logistics processes, and technology needs.
Regularly prepare corporate vendor information sessions on DSW’s behalf for presentation at the Vendor
Compliance Federation’s semiannual conferences.
