Kevin Blakely Biography Kevin Blakely is the President and CEO at KMB Financial LLC which provides consulting services to financial institutions specializing in enterprise risk management. He has extensive experience in financial services with specific focus on risk management. Kevin Blakely previously served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Huntington Bancshares, where he was responsible for enterprise risk management, with direct oversight of Compliance, Market Risk, Credit Review, Legal, Operational Risk, Corporate Insurance, Regulatory Liaison, Model Validation & ICAAP. He was also a member of the Management Committee and several other executive level committees. Prior to working at Huntington, Kevin Blakely served as the President and CEO of the Risk Management Association and Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Key Bank. Kevin Blakely started his career as Deputy Comptroller for Special Supervision at Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. At the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, he was responsible for oversight of problem and failing national banks throughout the U.S. Chaired Enforcement Review Committee. He worked closely with senior regulators from Federal Reserve and FDIC regarding regulatory policy, especially as it pertained to banks in crisis. He also had frequent interaction with Capitol Hill regarding the condition of the banking industry. Kevin Blakely holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University – Weatherhead School of Management and a BA from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
