DRYWALK® IN – Fatliquoring Agent for Water Resistant & Soft Leathers
Features

DRYWALK IN is a white emulsion based on a combination of sulphited
synthetic fats and polymeric components.
Charge: Anionic.
Light-fastness & heat resistance: Good.
Handling & storage:
Wear goggles and gloves during handling. ALWAYS STIR BEFORE USE
and close containers tightly afterwards.
Can be stored for about 1 year (from date of production) if kept between
10°C and 30°C. IN ANY CASE PROTECT FROM FROST AND HEAT
ABOVE 35°C.
Stability in chrome salt solutions: Not stable.
Method of diluting:

DRYWALK IN is diluted with water at 60 °C, with stirring.

Benefits
DRYWALK IN is a fatliquoring agent for chrome tanned and combination
tanned leathers.
®
In addition to its very good softening properties DRYWALK IN, (applied
in a suitable process), results in good water-resistance.
The best water-resistant effects are obtained by after-treatment with a
suitable cationic ‘capping’ agent, (e.g. chromium sulphate).
Note: Cationic ‘capping’ should be carried out in a fresh bath.

Leathers fatliquored with DRYWALK IN have a silky, smooth handle.
®
It’s very good light-fastness makes DRYWALK IN also suitable for white
or pastel shade leathers.
On suede leathers, a very good lustre is obtained.
®
DRYWALK IN can be combined with other anionic and non-ionic
fatliquoring agents however, (depending on the customers requirements),
additional fatliquoring agents may not be necessary.
