Benefits BORRON
®
DL supports the soaking effect and enhances the penetration of other chemicals leading to an improved lay-out and area yield. It improves uniformity of dyeing and retanning and supports inner softness.
BORRON
®
DL enhances fat removal without making grain and bellies loose and therefore it is especially suitable for greasy hides and skins.
BORRON
®
DL substantially improves scud-loosening and hair removal.
BORRON
®
DL improves water proofing and fogging values.
BORRON
®
DL can be used to soak most hides without any additional surfactant thus improving the grease removal in the effluent plant.
Application BORRON
®
DL is used preferably for degreasing during soaking, but can be applied in liming and bating as well. The required dosage depends on the raw stock, the processing step in which it is used, the condition of the hides
& skins (preservation) as well as on the final leather type to be produced.
If necessary the degreasing can be intensified by the subsequent use of surfactants from the BORRON
® range.
The best application practice is always first to apply BORRON
®
DL and after the product has done its work, add the appropriate surfactant from the BORRON
® range or in soaking, a non-enzymatic soaking agent from the PELLVIT
®
range.
In main-soaking BORRON
®
DL
