DESIGNATION OF PERSON TO RECEIVE NOTICES FROM THE CREATOR OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY THAT
HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE COMMERCIALISED
Regulation 29(1) of the Monash University (Vice-Chancellor) Regulations provides that a creator who has
created intellectual property that has the potential to be commercialised must, as soon as possible after its
creation, give notice of the creation to the person designated by the Vice-Chancellor to receive such
notices. The Vice-Chancellor has delegated the power under regulation 29(1) to the Provost & Senior VicePresident.
Edwina Cornish, Provost & Senior Vice-President of Monash University, for the purposes of regulation
29(1) of the Monash University (Vice-Chancellor) Regulations, under the said delegation has designated the
following person as the person to receive notices under that regulation:

The person holding the position of Director Commercialisation, or any successor or replacement
position
This designation is effective from 28 May 2014 until the designation is revoked by the Provost or the
Provost’s successor or by the Vice-Chancellor & President.
