It covers a wide variety of topics, including some issues on business organizations, conveyance by will, land use, and closing/title insurance, landlord and tenant relationships, and familiarity with common Texas real estate documents. NO LAPTOPS OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION DEVICES WILL BE ALLOWED IN CLASS. ATTENDANCE: No more than five absences will be allowed during the semester. The student will receive an automatic drop from the course. CLASS PARTICIPATION: Class participation is encouraged and student’s overall grade may be adjusted up or down depending on the level of class participation, or lack thereof. GRADING: Your grade will be determined by one examination. Your grade will be determined solely on the basis of that exam score.
