Their warriors, called IMPIS, conquered the surrounding tribes using war tactics that were later employed by modern nations. The Zulu tribe was led by several tyrannical chiefs who slaughtered countless people. The power-hungry Tsaka was the cruelest of these chiefs. When his mother died, he killed about 7000 of his own tribesmen for crimes such as not grieving enough, and standing too straight or sneezing during funeral ceremonies.
