Independent School District 196 Rosemount Elementary School April 2014 Newsletter SchoolresumesMarch31st. More Than a Test APRIL DATES: In the next month, students in grades 3-5 will take the math, reading and science sections of the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA). There is value in using these tests to gauge student progress, and as a tool to measure overall academic performance at Rosemount Elementary and our students achievement. I admire the work and dedication that our students and staff put forth to prepare for, and do their best on the MCAs. Without minimizing any of their efforts, I know that this is just one indicator of student and school performance. There are so many exciting events of learning and exploring that will never be formally used to measure growth at RES. April1,PTOMeeting,6:30pm. April1,Summer“Grasp”Orderdeadline.
