Writing Equations to Solve Problems
1. A dog kennel owner has 100 ft of fencing to enclose a rectangular dog run. She wants it to be 5 times as long as it is wide. Find the dog run dimensions.
Understand how to isolate a single variable in a multivariable formula and how to write equations to model and solve real world problems writing one variable in terms of another. DoBe able to describe one variable in terms of another to write equations and solve real world problems. Be able to isolate the variable given different types of situations.
