SUNY-Buffalo has a nice mix of required course options and other methods of
evidence that don’t seem to provide an undue burden on the natural sciences &
engineering, or liberal arts/education. My guess is that faculty from the
science/eng areas participated in the discussions of implementing general
education at their campus.
SUNY-Buffalo doesn’t have a mission statement-type presentation of general
education goals.
