Title
Pregnant Students and Students Who Have Children
1.
Pregnant students and students who have children shall be permitted to
continue in all school activities in all instances, unless the physician of the
expectant mother deems school attendance not advisable. The school
administration is authorized to make special arrangements for the instruction of
pregnant students and students who have children, and to provide an educational
program designed to meet their special needs.
2.
Pregnant students are entitled to receive homebound instruction prior to
delivery and for a reasonable time after delivery. The homebound instruction will
be delivered at the rate of one hour of instruction per one day of absence.
