DENTAL ASSISTING REGISTRATION INFORMATION
SECOND TERM
FALL START
This letter is to inform you of the classes for which you need to register for the upcoming spring
term. We have provided you with course name and section as well as synonym numbers to use
for the Express Registration through EagleNet.
Priority Registration for spring is November 2-6, 2015. Please check EagleNet for your priority
date and time schedule. Failure to register by Friday November 13, 2015 may result in
removal from your program.
You will need to register for all classes listed under Group A, Group B, Group C or Group D, if
you have not completed them already. YOU MUST REGISTER FOR ALL CLASSES IN ONE
GROUP. NO MIXING & MATCHING. IF YOU DO YOUR SCHEDULES WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY
SWITCHED WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Completion of General Education courses prior to graduation with the Associates of Applied
Science (AAS) degree is the responsibility of you as the student.
The following General Education Course is required to be completed during or prior to the
Spring Semester to complete the Diploma option:
o Speech Requirement (Select ONE of the following courses)
 COM-222 Communication for Health Care Professional
 COM-722 Communication in the Workplace
 SPC-101 Fundamentals of Oral Communication
 SPC-112 Public Speaking
The following General Education Courses are required to be completed prior to the completion
of the program to meet the A.A.S degree option. Some of these courses may already be
completed but ALL have to be completed before the degree is granted:
 ENG-105 Composition I
 MAT-731 Introduction to Math (or a higher college level math course)
 PSY-111 Introduction to Psychology
 XXX-XXX Humanities Elective Course (3 credits)
 XXX-XXX General Electives (6 credits total)
